Sad

This has been a very trying week. My grandmother passed away on Feb. 25th. She fell and hit her head and severed a vein in her brain and blead out. She was the only one left in her family. Her funeral was this weekend and I am still pretty upset. I went out last night to a work function and it seemed to keep my mind off of it. Why do we have to feel so much pain? When you are little you think your parents and grandparents are going to live forever. I will remember her and grandpa with all of the good memories and all of the things they taught me.

It's going

Well starting back to work has been interesting. I do miss my baby so much, I wish I could just stay home with him. But I am getting the hang of things, I just have to remind myself that I will get to see him in no time at all. I give major credit to all working moms. I never realized it would be so hard to leave. But things are going good with Jason taking him to work with him. I couldn't have asked for a better husband or dad. My husband and his father are watching my son all day at their shop. I thought they might have a hard time being with him all by themselves, but man did they surprise me.

It will be interestig to see how things turn out with my husband watching my son. He will be going to his shop with him. I do not know that any work will get done. But we will see.

Koltin at two months

We had Koltins two month checkup yesterday. He is gaining weight, but the doctor didn't seen to enthused with how much he had gained. I started to feel bad like there was something I was doing wrong. My husband opened my eyes that I am doing nothing wrong. I am feeding him when he is hungry and letting him eat until he is full. He did also have thrush. After doing research I found that it can be painful to them and it could affect their eating habbits until it is gone. The doctor gave him some medicine so hopefully it helps. In a month he only gained a little less than a pound, all of my friends baby's have gained more than that, I guess he will just grow at his own pase.

This is my amazing new baby boy. He has brought so much joy to my life. I never knew it was possible to love someone so much. I was worried just like every other parent that I was going to be able to take care of him. But the mother is not that hard. In fact I am enjoying it greatly. I will have to go back to work here in the next week or two and it is going to be very hard to leave him.

Back to work

Now because Corral West is closing I have to find another job. I did have an interview last week at a bank near where I live. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get it. A new job would be a nice change of pace since I have worked at the same job for the last five years. I can't help but be a little sad because going back to work means I have to leave my son. He was born seven weeks ago and I have not been away from him more than two hours. I do enjoy spending my time with him every day.

My life has changed greatly in the last two months. It is hard at times to cope with all of the crazy changes. I am happy with most of them, it is a just a little overwhelming.
